Ok, but how did we get here?
Sercante was born because we saw a gap. With all the growth and promise of marketing automation technology, customers weren’t seeing the value realized — and it was often because balls were getting dropped in one of two places:

In what digital marketing agencies and technology consultants could provide (they were either excellent creatives with no tech chops…. Or the other way around.)
Sercante launched with the vision to bridge these gaps and bring the strategy, tech, creative, and execution needed to make our customers wildly successful on the Salesforce platform. We sought out to be the most creative in a room full of tech people, and the most tech-savvy in the room full of creatives.
And over the last 6 years, Sercante has filled this void by offering comprehensive services tailored to the unique needs of marketing automation customers, delivering both technical expertise and strategic marketing insights.

- 2020 – Sercante completes Salesforce Accelerate Build Incubator program and first Sercante Labs product goes live on the Salesforce AppExchange
- 2021 – Salesforce Recognizes Sercante as the first Pardot PDO
- 2021 – Salesforce Ventures awards Sercante with $1M SI Trailblazer funding
- 2022 – Sercante earns Salesforce Partner Innovation Award in Retail category

How is the Market Evolving?

Just as we recognized some gaps in the market when Sercante was born, we’re seeing new gaps now. To truly leverage the power of the technology that’s before us, customers are going to need to undergo a unification process — in technology, people, and process.
On the tech side — it’s all about data. How can we bust data silos? How can we bring our data together to power AI?
On the people and process side — how can we align our teams to create one seamless, frictionless digital experience? Our customers don’t change their expectations when working with one team vs. the next. They aren’t wondering if they’re on a service site or a marketing page when they’re navigating our digital properties. But internally we’re often behaving like these are separate functions.
We’re seeing progressive customers quietly making changes to realign. We’re seeing the highest growth customers thinking about “growth ops” or “GTM ops” is a holistic way, encompassing sales, service, and marketing.
And that’s the space we’re playing in next.
